Concrete is the main material for most of the buildings on earth. Concrete is the combination of cement, water, and aggregates. A paste formed when cement and water is mixed together and hardened by a chemical reaction which known as hydration.
Why is concrete often use in construction field?
It's because of its properties :
# Good workability - When the concrete is fresh mixed, it is easy to place, handle, compact and transport from one place to another. Slump test is usually used to test the workability of the concrete.

Concrete Slump Test Video is provided below. Hope this video can guide you more on the Concrete Slump Test.
# Strong cohesiveness - Well mixed concrete can holds together when plastic.

The following materials are to form concrete.
Concrete = cement + water + aggregates (fine & coarse aggregates)

Mix proportions of concrete must be accurate, which might affect the properties of concrete. Different types of cement used will affect the properties of concrete of how fast or slow for the concrete to gain strength. Too much of water and less amount of cement will cause the concrete becomes weak and less durable. Not suitable of mix proportion of concrete is dangerous to pour into foundation during construction period.
